ITPC WINTER 2023 SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTION
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/11/2023
On July 4th, 1941, the New York Yankees made Lou Gehrig the second inductee into the historic Monument Park at Yankee Stadium. “The Iron Horse” was a mainstay of the Yankees lineup through the 1920’s and 1930’s, with only his fatal diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis felling the unparalleled first baseman. This ticket pictures Gehrig in his Yankees uniform. It would only grade Good as there is surface wear and evidence of gluing on the verso side. It still displays nicely.
