ITPC's SPRING 2011 SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTION
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/9/2011
This fantastic program was for an exhibition game played sponsored by Post Cereals. It was played beyween the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Battle Creek All-Stars (a Post Cereals company team). It was played on May 31, 1950. The starting line-uos were pre-printed on the center pages and the Brooklyn line-up included stars such as Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Jackie Robinson and Gil Hodges. It appears as though outfielder George Shuba signed the score-card. The back page shows the likeness of Dodger General manager Branch Rickey as well as the facsimile autographs of team members. It is in excellent plus condition. Not many of these programs survived.
