In 1956 - Dairy Queen / Taste Freeze used these statues as promotions at their store fronts. They are from the exact same molds as the Big League Stars series- but these are white. There are the same 18 players in this set as the Big League Stars series. The names of each player is embossed on the base. This Gil Hodges statue is one of the rarest in the series to find. It shows the Brooklyn Dodger great batting. Often this statue is found with a broken bat. this example would have to grade near mint.
