ITPC 2015 HOLIDAY SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTION - 300 LOTS- CLOSES 12/4/15
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/5/2015
Among collectors of Baseball Hartlands, this statue is considered part of the player series. It's of the little boy called the Little Leaguer and sometimes referred to as the Bat Boy. After issuing this statue in 1963, Hartland was sued by the Little League for the useage of the name. Many of the header cards were then cut to remove "Little Leaguer" from the top. this example still is complete and the statue is still sealed in its original clear plasic bubble. The statue is bright, clean and in near mint condition. The header card to show wear & tear and there are scotch tape stains. Still looks pretty good on display.
