This elusive doll is from the short-lived NFL Realistic Face series of the mid 60's. It's of the Washington Redskins and it is considered the rarest of the series. The series features a more mature looking face than the other boy face NFL dolls. This Redskin has nice bright coloring. There is some wear on the chest decal, but the rest are all fairly strong. There are a couple of light hairlines under the chin that cannot be seen when displayed. It still displays beautifully. Don't miss this one- as it may be awhile before you see another offered.
