ITPC 2015 HOLIDAY SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTION - 300 LOTS- CLOSES 12/4/15
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/5/2015
1934 All-Star Game was held on July 10th at the Polo Grounds in New York. It was in this game, only the second in All-Star history, that Carl Hubbell struck out in succession, five of the greatest sluggers in baseball history: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons, and Joe Cronin. Despite Hubbell's performance, the American League battled back from a 4-0 deficit to eventually defeat their National League rivals 9-7. The program has some splitting on the spine, both lower bottom corners have chipping. Still a very tough program to find in any condition.
