ITPC SPRING 2016 SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTION - 300 LOTS
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/21/2016
This hard to find doll was first issued during the historic Home Run race of 1961 between Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle. Those two players were the only actual player dolls issued as miniatures. This Roger Maris example measures about 5" tall and is equiped with a magnet under the base. It has nice bright coloring and strong decals. There are no chips or cracks and it would have to grade near mint. It comes with its original picture box that has a caricature of Maris on the box cover. The box cover has separated from the box- but still looks great on display.
