These two pennants were souvenirs of the California Cuties* a comady me's baseball team that played dressed as woman. The top pennant measures 17.5" long. there is some soiling in the lower left hand corner. the bottom pennant measures 18" lomg. there is also some light discoloration. these pennants are not easy to find.

*The Cuties were created by Trino Palacios in 1946 on the Pacific Island of Guam to entertain American troops. Back stateside in ’48, he turned the act into a career. All manner of novelty teams were barnstorming around the continent in those days but playing in drag set the Cuties apart. Their heyday was the 50s and 60s.
