These 1 3/8" coins were a give-away of the Salada Tea Company during the 1961-62 NHL season. There are 120 player coins in the set with all of the then 6 NHL teams represented. One could order the 6 different NHL shields to display the coins.
This is the complete set of Detroit Red Wings coins with the shield. Players of note are Gordie Howe, Terry Sawchuck and Alex Delevecchio. They are in excellent condition. The shield is in excellent condition.
