ITPC SPRING 2017 SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTION ENDS MARCH 17
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/18/2017
For most collectors of Baseball Hartlands, this statue is considered part of the original player series. It's of the little boy called the Little Leaguer (aka Bat Boy). After issuing this statue in 1963, Hartland was sued by the Little League for the useage of their name. Many of the header cards were then cut to remove "Little Leaguer" from the top. This example still is complete and the statue is still sealed in its original clear plasic bubble. The statue is bright, clean and in near mint condition. The header card to show wear but still displays nicely.
