This doll is from the hard to find "Black Face" series of Major League teams issued in the early 60's. All the dolls in this series are considered rare. This Detroit Tigers is a beautiful example. It has nice colring and strong decals. There are no chips or cracks, but there is roughness under the rim. It still would grade excellent plus. You'll be happy with this one.
