"Black Bats" have been a staple of Major League baseball for many decades. They are Championship display bats that contain team member names or facsimile autographs and were given to employees of those teams. This bat of the 1952 World Champion N.Y. Yankees. The lettering is in gold. this bat has surface wear and some of the names have faded a bit with age. Some of the more notable names include Mickey Mantle, Larry (Yogi) Berra, Casey Stengel, Phil Rizzuto and Johnny mize. It still displays nicely.
