Denny Dimwit was a character from the neighborhood gang, the Rinkydinks, which appeared in a comic strip called Winnie Winkle. This bobbing head / nodder is of this terrific looking character and is circa late 40's. The doll moves at the head and hips. It has very nice coloring, but does have some paint loss. There is also some cracking and crackling of paint, but the doll still displays nicely. It is about 11" tall.
