Although not very rare, this statue set is a favorite among figural collectors. It features a comical baseball scene with two arguing players and very stoic umpire. These statues are made of chalk ware are were part of a series of humorous statue sets done by artist L.L. Rittgers. The statues are dated at the feet. It's a very nice setwith only a few scattered paint flecks. A wonderful addition to any sports collection.
