ANOTHER CARTER-HOFFMAN PROGRAM

We just came across another great looking college football program with figural sports memorabilia featured on the front cover. the program was for a game played between Yale and Connecticut on September 20, 1952. The cover shows a Carter-Hoffman wood carved statue of the Yale mascot bulldog as well as the mascots of all their opponents during that season. On page 13 of the program, it talks about the making of the cover and the statues used for the photograph. Who would have ever thought that these little creations would be so popular almost 60 years later?
